Providenciales, or more commonly
known as Provo, covers an area of 61 km and
is the most developed island in Turks and
Caicos. The many pristine white sand beaches
have often been referred to as the most
beautiful in the world. The most famous
beach is Grace Bay Beach, stretching for an
unbelievable 19 km. Provo is also a sought
after destination for divers and snorkellers,
with its lovely coral reef, rich in aquatic
life.
To the west side of the Caicos islands,
Provo offers all modern conveniences,
including superb hotels, a casino, a Golf
Club, wonderful restaurants and great
shopping opportunities. Although Provo is
the most mature of the islands, it is still
a destination for those who want to escape
their busy lifestyle and find total
relaxation.
